Militants operating in the oil rich Niger Delta have been linked to the attacks.
The Barge driver was also taken away along the waterways of Sagbama LGA of Bayelsa.
They were reportedly attacked while escorting an empty barge from Warri to Port Harcourt to load petroleum product around the area.
