Nigerian President Goodluck Jonathan leaves Number 10 Downing Street after meeting with British Prime Minister David Cameron on February 11, 2013 in London, England.
Discussions between the two leaders are expected to have focused on expansion of trade and economic relations between Nigeria and Britain as well as greater cooperation on combating terrorism.
More than 600 people were believed to have been killed by Boko Haram in 2012 by the group, which is fighting to overthrow the government and create an Islamic state in Nigeria's predominantly Muslim north.
Mr Jonathan's visit comes a day after Nigeria victory in the Afican Cup of Nations (AFCON) final against Burkina Faso.
