The city of Kano has again been hit by another explosion.
Investigations gathered that the bomb explosion occurred at Ganji roundabout in the ancient city on Thursday morning, just few hours after a special prayer session organized by the state government had taken place.
The Military Joint Task Force, JTF, spokesperson in Kano, Captain Ikedichi Iweha confirmed the incident, adding that security personnel had condoned off the area to minimize civilian casualties.
He urged the people to go about with their various activities, confirming that no death was recorded in the explosion.
The Bomb Disposal Unit of the Nigeria Police were also present at the scene of the explosion.
