David Moyes has managed to land club football's biggest job after being confirmed as Sir Alex Ferguson's replacement on a six-year deal.
But a move to Manchester United is a huge step-up for a man who has been in charge of Everton since March 2002.
It's a daunting prospect, but there are certain steps Moyes can take to ensure the transition is as smooth as possible...
1. Bring in a midfielder: Fergie appeared determined not to sign a central midfielder, much to the annoyance of United fans, so recruiting Marouane Fellaini would be an easy win for Moyes.
2. Change his watch to Fergie time: We all know the scoreboards at Old Trafford are located on a different plane of the space-time continuum, so Moyes might want to get prepared for the fact that the seconds will slow when he needs a late goal.
3. Spend some money: Moyes has always worked on the tightest of budgets at Everton, so now it's time to let loose and splash some cash. Go on Davie, treat yourself.
4. Do something with Bebe: Something ... anything. Just get him off the books.
5. Expand his wine collection: Opposing managers come to Old Trafford expecting to get a taste of the good stuff. Moyes must carry on this tradition for fear of alienating his thirsty contemporaries.
6. Make friends with Howard Webb: Well, he has to continue that special relationship, doesn't he?
