After just a day in the Big Brother Africa (BBA)-The Chase game, housemates from both the Rubies and Diamonds houses were faced with a difficult choice of having to nominate one another for possible eviction.
This Sunday at least one housemate from each house will leave after only a week in the game.
Housemates up for possible eviction from the Diamonds are Denzel (Uganda), Betty (Ethiopia), and Huddah (Kenya), and from the Rubies house they are Selly (Ghana) and Natasha (Malawi).
Betty and Natasha's fates however were not decided by votes as they were put in the hot seat by the heads of houses who were saving nominated housemates and putting them up instead.
Diamonds head of house Feza of Tanzania saved Elikem from Ghana, putting Betty up for possible eviction instead, who she had nominated, while Rubies head of house Beverly (Nigeria) decided to save Bassey (Sierra Leone) and put Natasha up instead.
While it's still early in the game to safely gauge the housemates' popularity, the two housemates most likely to leave are Denzel and Natasha, judging from comments from BBA-The Chase followers.
Meanwhile, the Diamonds house seems to be heating up as a relationship is already brewing. Sierra Leone's Bolt and Betty seem to be enjoying quality time together having started smooching on their first day in the house.
In the wee hours of Tuesday, Bolt and Betty's kissing got a little hot and steamy, with Bolt jumping out of bed and searched his bag pockets and boxes, most probably looking for a condom.
Bolt finally gave up on whatever he was looking for and settled for a glass of water.Botswana's pair of O'Neal and Motamma are for now safe from possible eviction.
