The aunt of deceased rapper Tupac Shakur has become the first woman to appear on the FBI’s Most Wanted Terrorist list, donning a $2 million reward if captured.
Assata Shakur – also known as Joanne Chesimard – was convicted in 1977 of murdering New Jersey State Trooper Werner Foerster in 1973.

Two years later, however, Shakur was able to escape from prison.

Shakur, a member of the Black Liberation Army, shot Foerster in the head after being pulled over for a broken taillight.

After being on the run for 35 years, she has finally made the FBI’s Most Wanted Terrorists list, with a $2 million reward if she is captured.

Reports say Shakur has been living in Cuba since the 1984, and it is believed she has connections with terrorist organizations in the communist nation.

Tupac Shakur, who sold millions of records and is regarded as one of the greatest rappers ever, was heavily influenced by his family’s militant ways, including his family’s ties to the Black Panthers.

Authorities are trying to finally shut the book on Assata Shakur.

“She continues to flaunt her freedom in the face of this horrific crime,” said New Jersey State Police Superintendent Col. Rick Fuentes during a recent news conference.
