A group of Islamic extremists threw three teenagers off a roof in Egypt last week because they were caught celebrating the ousting of former Egyptian president Mohamed Morsi, a devout Islamist.
In this absolutely terrifying footage filmed from a mobile phone across the road, a group of four boys is seen hiding from a mob who had been chasing them throughout the city of Alexandria.
Once the teenage boys are huddled together on top of a 20 foot ledge, the mob starts throwing rocks at them.
One bearded attacker is seen carrying a black and white al-Qaeda flag.
Then, three of the four boys are thrown off the ledge and beaten as they lie helplessly on the ground.
One of the boys, 19-year-old Hamada Badr, was killed while the other two were left seriously injured, Daily mail reports.
Since Morsi was ousted, approximately 36 people have died and 1,000 have been injured.
Interim president, Adly Mansour, announced yesterday that liberal and Nobel Peace laureate Mohammed El-Baradei is being considered for the position of prime minister.
We can expect a violent uproar from conservative Islamists if he is put into power.
