She was in the “wrong place at the wrong time” when two men blasted her and injured her friend as they left a kebab shop.
A young mum was shot and killed early yesterday as she was out celebrating her 24th birthday.
Sabrina Moss was in the “wrong place at the wrong time” when two men blasted her and injured her friend as they left a kebab shop.
Detectives believe the men were trying to kill someone else and Sabrina, who has a four-year-old son, and her friend were in the line of fire.
Nursery nurse Sabrina was taken to hospital but medics could not save her. Her 24-year-old friend was still in hospital last night.
In a tragic twist Sabrina had tweeted a fortnight ago that she was not going out on her birthday – but later changed her mind.
She wrote: “2 weeks till my bday, decided I’m stayin in that night can’t be bothered with bdays no more gettin 2 old 4 all dat s**t anyway.”
The detective leading the murder hunt said the women were “innocent victims” of the attack just after 4am at the Woody Grill in Kilburn, north-west
London. Detective Chief Inspector John Sandlin added: “It would appear she was in the wrong place at the wrong time. She was leaving the Woody Grill when two males came from across the road and shots were fired.
“Sabrina suffered a gunshot injury and died. I do not believe she was the intended target.”
Pal Carla Goulart tweeted that she and a friend made a cake for Sabrina, from Neasden, saying: “Sabrina Moss you really bugged me for this cake... it was our pleasure making it for your 24th birthday. I will miss you a lot.” And Stacey Baby wrote: “This is so heartbreaking. I’m so sorry, I don’t know what to say. She didn’t deserve this x.”
