Nigeria's Oil Rich Minister Spends $60m On Private Jet Worth $30m In Open Market {PHOTO}

Nigeria's oil minister, Diezani Alison-Madueke is alleged to have spent about $ 60m of public funds on leasing services for a Bombardier Challenger 850 Jet worth only $ 32m in the open market. 

In 2012, Beyonce gifted the exact same new $30 million Bombardier Challenger 850 to Jay-Z. The private jet includes a living room, kitchen, bedroom, and two bathrooms.

Also in August 2013, A civil society group in Nigeria urged The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) to probe how Mrs. Madueke blew over N 2 Billion on chartered jets. 

The Minister was reported to the Chairman of EFCC, Mr. Ibrahim Lamorde, by a whistle-blowing group, Crusaders for Good Governance (CGG), on August 13. 

In the petition, signed by its representative, Okechukwu Obiorah Nnamdi, the group said its alarm against the Minister, who could not be reached for comments last night, was borne out of investigation.
