Nigeria's crippling oil and gas industrial action is impacting negatively on Ghana's economy, officials have said.
Workers at the Nigeria's energy sector, mainly in the oil and gas industries, are demanding higher salary perks and better working conditions.
They have downed their tools since Tuesday.
Already the Nigerian oil and gas sector had ceased supplies of the precious gas to Ghana prompting the Ghanaian business to express concern at the looming shortage.
It is widely believed the industrial action in Nigeria would lead into the closure of Plant, which heavily relied on gas from Africa's top oil producing nation.
To complicate matters for Ghana, the country does not have enough electricity to lessen the scarcity.
