Shortly after exporting her blog's content to Lindaikejionline.com, Linda Ikeji posted a remarkably long tale in which she revealed that there was more to the closure of her blog than met the eye.

According to the blogger, this wasn't merely an issue of jealousy over her newly-acquired Range Rover, nor was it a matter of plagiarism, but of someone who felt she had hit the big league and forgotten him afterwards.

She detailed a story about meeting a man named Alex of 1967AD, who gave her a Women of the Year Award (which she cherishes dearly) and helped her set her blog on the remarkable path it currently is on.

She said after a while, their interaction waned naturally, but they had had no dispute. It turns out, she says, that Alex felt slighted by the stoppage of communication, and thought she had 'grown the proverbial set of wings', and was deliberately ignoring his emails and requests for correspondence.

Via IM messages, he confessed to being the Mr. Aye Dee responsible for her travails and that he did it because his partners were really upset with her for stealing their content. Linda Ikeji on the other hand, defended herself by saying she had content curators, and that perhaps one of them did, as she could not recall taking content specifically off Mr. Aye Dee's twitter page.

She expressed astonishment and betrayal at the discovery, while Aye Dee apologized, saying he realized, albeit belatedly, that Linda Ikeji hadn't set out to disregard him.

He then promised to help her recover her deleted blog and make things right.

In the wee hours of October 10, 2014, Google restored Linda Ikeji's blog for online access, a sign that the 'misunderstanding' between Mr. Aye Dee and Linda Ikeji had been resolved.
