ZIMBABWE: President Mugabe Arrives Indonesia

President Robert Mugabe has arrived in Jakarta, Indonesia  for the Asia-Africa Summit and the ceremony to mark the 60th anniversary of the Bandung Conference.

President Mugabe, who is accompanied by the First Lady Dr Grace Mugabe was met at the Halim
Perdanakusum International Airport by Indonesia's Minister of Defence Ryamizard Ryacudu, senior officials from the Indonesian government, Zimbabwe's ambassador to Indonesia, Ambassador Alice Mageza, Foreign Affairs Minister Cde Simbarashe Mumbengegwi who travelled ahead of the delegation and some members of staff from the Zimbabwe embassy in Indonesia.

Cde Mugabe is among more than 30 heads of state from Africa and Asia who will gather in Jakarta this week to share their countries’ economic development experiences.
