Super Eagles goalkeeper and skipper, Vincent Enyeama, has said he would be resigning from he national team, and probably the sport, after the next African Cup of Nations (AFCON) in Gabon in 2017.
Enyeama, 32, who is the second Super Eagles player to reach the 100 caps mark since his debut against Kenya in May 2002, said he would hang his boots by lifting the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations trophy.
"It's impossible to play football forever and the next tournament in Gabon will be my last one," Enyeama told BBC Sport on Tuesday.
"I've played in two finals, lost in 2004, won in 2013, and to win in 2017 is how I hope to be remembered.
"But more significantly we must not get ahead of ourselves because we need to qualify first."
