Gunmen Attack Hotel In Mali Capital, One Person Killed

Armed gunmen have reportedly attacked a hotel located in the capital city of Bamako.

Reports claim that one civilian has been killed and that military forces are currently trying to stop the attack.

The Malian army was trying on Friday to end an armed attack on a hotel in the centre of the country which has already left one person dead, military sources said.

The army has surrounded the hotel in Sevare, located more than 600km north of the capital Bamako, after gunmen stormed the building and a body could be seen lying in front of the building, the two sources said.
