SEE PHOTOS: 3 Indonesian Women Flogged In Public For Committing Adultery

Three Indonesian women were flogged for committing adultery. The flogging took place today in Banda Aceh, Indonesia in front of a mosque following the Friday prayer. They're arrested for having unmarried sex.

Aceh is the only province in the world's most populous Muslim-majority country that is allowed to implement Sharia law. Although public whipping is a common punishment there, it is rare for women to be caned.
