SOUTH AFRICA: Man Gets Killed While Trying To Jump-Start A Car

A man was killed when he was hit by another vehicle while trying to jump-start a car on the R59 in Meyerton, paramedics said on Monday.

When paramedics arrived at the scene they found five vehicles had collided and were sitting in the middle of the road, ER24 spokesperson Russel Meiring said.

The man's lifeless body was found lying under one of the cars. He was declared dead.

Another person sitting in one of the vehicles had moderate injuries.

The injured were taken to a nearby hospital.
