Kenyan lady stabbed to death by boyfriend for dumping him

A young Kenyan lady, Catherine Waithera Njogu, was the victim of an insane lover, Watson Njiiri, who allegedly beat her brutally before stabbing her to death for daring to dump him.

The Kenya Daily Post reports that Njogu who lived and worked in Dubai, was trailed to her office by the angry Njiiri who murdered her there before escaping.


The two were said to have been dating for two years and Njiiri reportedly spent a lot of money on Njogu and was the one who relocated her to Dubai and also secured a job for her with DHL but after a while, she decided to end their relationship, claiming he was not giving her space.


All attempts by the suspect to get her back proved abortive, leading him to murder her as he could not bear spending so much money on her only for her to dump him for another man.

According to the report, Njiiri had also been threatening to kill the lady for the past one month.

Njogu's bereaved father, Joseph, has urged the Kenyan Government as well as the UAE government to do everything possible to bring the culprit to book.
