Official: Osaze Odemwingie Joins Bristol City

Nigerian winger Osaze Odemwingie has joined Bristol City on loan for the remainder of the season.


Stoke City confirmed the news on their official website on Friday afternoon.

Since returning from injury, Odemwingie has struggled for game time having only played just eight games .

A statement on Stoke's website read, "Peter Odemwingie has joined Bristol City on loan for the remainder of the Championship club's campaign.

‎"The Club would like to take this opportunity to wish Peter every success in his time with the West Country club."

The 34-year-old former Nigeria international is likely to go straight into City's squad for their game against Fulham at Craven Cottage tomorrow.

Bristol City are currently 20th in the Championship table, two points above the relegation zone.
