Nike Design 'Vahrez' Boots For Algeria's Mahrez And Vardy

Nike have developed a limited edition VAHREZ boots for Leicester duo Jamie Vardy and Algeria's Riyad Mahrez - which would be worn this weekend - to celebrate the Foxes' remarkable Premier League title success.


The pair have scooped the game's top individual awards for their role in the most unlikely of victories.

Leicester take on Chelsea this weekend at Stamford Bridge their final outing of the season with the duo hoping to add to their total of 41 combined goals and 17 combined assists this campaign.

As the celebrations for the season continue, Nike Football has presented each with custom VAHREZ Nike iD Hypervenom Phantom II boots.

Vardy’s right boot is predominantly white and his left is black, while Mahrez’s left boot is white and his right boot is black. Additionally, each boot features its respective player's national flag: the Algerian flag on Mahrez's and the English flag on Vardy's.

Mahrez said: “Jamie and I took unusual routes to get to here and this helps our partnership – I’m honoured to wear these boots as symbols of our achievements this season.”
