'My wife is an incurable flirt; she brings her sex partners into our home' - Man tells court

 A divorce seeking man, Omotayo Awodiya, has told an Igando Customary Court sitting in Lagos State, that he wants his 15-year-old marriage to his wife, Olabisi, dissolved on the grounds of adultery as she is an incurable flirt who brings her sex partners into their matrimonial home and sleeps with them on their bed.



The 52-year-old Awodiya who is an insurance marketer, also accused Olabisi of keeping several sex partners and slept with them even under his nose and therefore, can no longer condone her adulterous lifestyle.

"My wife always brings men into our matrimonial home if I am at home or not. She told me that they are her friends and that she could not leave them just because she is married."

Awodiya added that his wife was arrogant and stubborn just because she was richer than he was.

"She does not respect me and she talks to me as if she is talking to her housemaid or younger brother. I am no longer interested in the marriage and wants it dissolved."

On her part, Olabisi, a mother of one refused to appear in court but sent her letter of consent through her lawyer, to the dissolution of the marriage.

The court’s president, Adegboyega Omilola, said that it was obvious that the marriage had hit the rocks.

"It is obvious from the testimonies and the respondent’s (wife) refusal to appear in court, that the marriage has collapsed. The court has no choice than to dissolve the marriage. Both parties are free to go their separate ways without any molestation."
