Swansea City are already planning for life without Ghanaian star Andre Ayew as they have lined up a £10million bid for Leicester City’s Leonard Ulloa, according to The Telegraph.
The Swans are expecting to lose Bafetimbi Gomis after he was left out of the club’s preseason tour to the United States, while Ayew has been strongly linked with a move away from Wales, having impressed bigger clubs in his first season in the Premier League.
This leaves new Swansea coach Francesco Guidolin worried that he may be short of attacking options heading into the 2016/17 season, hence the move to try and lure Ulloa away from the Premier League champions.
The Argentinian is expected to have limited playing opportunities in the forthcoming season, as the Foxes have signed Nigerian striker Ahmed Musa from CSKA Moscow.
Swansea hope that the prospect of a fresh start and regular playing time will convince Ulloa to move to South Wales.
