Veteran comedian/actor Bill Cosby reportedly goes blind

Veteran American comedian, Bill Cosby is reported to have gone completely blind following a degenerative eye condition, just as his trials begin.


The reports reveal that the veteran comedian is stuck in his home, living in what has been described as "his own personal hell", with only his wife, Camille, for support.

This sad occurrence comes as the 79-year-old gets set to face trial for sexual assault.
Earlier this month, Cosby is reported to have made use of a cane while holding on to the arm of an associate as he arrived for a preliminary hearing.

A source reportedly disclosed to New York Post's Page Six, saying:

"His alleged victims may take some solace in the fact that he's in his own personal hell.
"He has been suffering a degenerative eye disease and is completely blind. All his Hollywood friends have turned their backs on him."

he is believed to be suffering from keratoconus, a condition that cause the cornea to bulge, but as bad as his situation might seem, very few would sympathise.
