Man invokes millipede to attack estranged wife

A man who reportedly spent N1.8 million on the head of his wife as her bride price, has invoked a multitude of millipedes on her residence when the woman's family refused to return his money after she left his home.

According to residents of the community, the family of the woman took her to the home of a native doctor instead of a church after she was forced to run away from her home following several prophecies indicating that the powers invoked in her house by her husband would be active for a long time.

The people of the community has, however, vowed to banish the husband, a non-indigene, who hired a native doctor from another land to invoke the charm, while a militant group, which he first took the matter to, is said to be very angry at the actions of the man.
