I was born gay - Nigerian homosexual Bisi Alimi claims

Popular Nigerian gay man and LGBT activist, Bisi Alimi, has come out to shock many people when he took to his Instagram page to declare that he was born a gay because he knew he was one by the time he made his first cry as a baby.


Alimi had a normal upbringing and grew up like a normal boy in the Mushin area of Lagos State, before coming out in 2004 on national television as a guest on Funmi Iyanda's New Dawn with Funmi, a talk show on the Nigeria Television Authority, (NTA), to declare that he is a homosexual, but now says he was born the way he is.

Alimi who is planning to tie the knots with his gay partner, Anthony, in a few weeks time, posted this on his wall:

"Living an authentic life is fulfilling. It might not make you rich or famous. It might not get you the 'the best things' in life. But it will get you one thing. One big thing."
