Nollywood actress, Cynthia Shalom has debunked the claim that sex is the easiest way for a lady to climb higher in the movie industry.
She revealed that the general notion that producers ask girls for sex as criteria to give them roles is false. She claimed that the reverse has been the case that it is young girls who flirt themselves and try to seduce producers or directors in order to be given roles.
She advised that the focus should be on young girls who take things negatively especially when they are being rejected for a role.
She urged them to desist from looking for other means to make producers as well as directors give them the job.
In her words,” When a director tells you “no, I cannot cast you for this job”, do not take that negatively. Do not look for other means to make him give you the job. Instead take it as an opportunity to work more on yourself. Look for the reason you were rejected and work on it.’
